Before
You have your camera set up on a tripod towards a blank scene. This could be a room, open field or whatever. Take one exposure of this blank scene. Then bring in your model and any props to support them. This could be a chair, bucket anything. Take a second exposure with them “falling, floating, levitating” etc. Then just bring in the two photos to photoshop and layer mask out the prop.
